St, Catherines 5 Drumoghill 1 Another Good Win For The Saints
St. Catherine's played Drumoghill in the Donegal League Premier Division match on Sunday
in Emerald Park, the game was only three minutes old when the Saints with there first attack when Jason Noctor got the ball and he raced into the Drumoghill area and he was fouled in the box and the Saints were awarded a penalty kick, Jason Noctor picked himself up off the ground and he slotted the ball into the Drumoghill net sending Paul Mc Cauley in the Drumoghill goal the wrong way to put the Saints one nil up,
Drumoghill had a chance but it came to nothing, on twelve minutes the Saints keeper Michael Mullin kicked the ball straight down the field and Jason Noctor flicked the ball goal words and the ball just went wide of the Drumoghill post. on twenty minutes Drumoghill created there first real good chance in the game when they had a good shot outside the box that just went over the Saints crossbar. with thirty four minutes gone the ball was played down the line and Jason Noctor ran onto the ball beat the Drumoghill keeper and he squared the ball across the Drumoghill penalty area and there was Conor Doherty at the back post to tap the ball into the Drumoghill net to put the Saints two nil up .
That was the score at half time. so the second half and it was that man again that started off the scoring in the first half Jason Noctor when the Saints had a throw in and the ball was flicked on at the front post by the Saints player Shane Molloy and there was Jason Noctor on hand to put the ball into the Drumoghill net to put the Saints three nil up, on fifty three minutes .
In the sixty minutes the Saints went down the field and were given a free kick and the ball was put in and there was Daniel Breslin to put the ball into the Drumoghill net to make the score line four nil to the Saints. Drumoghill had a chance but the shot was well saved by the Saints keeper Michael Mullin.
Drumoghill hit the post on sixty five minutes and the Saints broke away up the field on the counter attack and the ball was played in from the wing into the Drumoghill area and after a goal mouth scramble and Saints player Barry Rose tapped the ball into the net to make the score five nil to the Saints.
