Our under 12's continued their good start to the league with a home win against Ardara on a scoreline of 4-6 to 3-7. Our lads got off to a good start before Ardara got two goals in succession to take the lead by one point at half time. The second half was equally tight with the visitors leading a point with a minute of time remaining. However the young Killybegs boys never gave in and a well worked moved resulted in the ball ending up in the visitors net to give the boys a two point lead. There were no more scores before the final whistle. In the development match some of our younger players got some more experience against a strong Ardara side who at one stage were seven points up. The team kept playing right to the end and their determination saw them earn a draw at full time. Well done to both teams.
After the two matches the Under 12 panel were presented with beautiful new tops for the season by Sean O'Shea of O'Shea Fishing Co. We would like to thank him for the kind sponsorship of tops for the team.

Hard luck to Slua and all the U16s after a great effort and exciting game in O'Donnell Park on Sunday evening. Things got off to a slow start for Killybegs but the young lads kept their heads high and pulled to 1 point game at half time!  The second half started positive for Killybegs as they switched from being a point behind to a point ahead but unfortunately for the young team their challengers, Naomh Padraig of Muff, finished the stronger.

Unfortunately things didn't go our way in the first game in the Championship group for either team. Both teams lost out narrowly! Hopefully better things to come in the remaining group games. Away to Naomh Muire and home to our neighbours Kilcar!
