SENIORS/RESERVES

Reserves lost out to Glenfin.

Senior result, Na Cealla Beaga 1-14, Glenfin 1-9.

After an early goal from Glenfin

Killybegs could have hung their heads but they did completely the opposite to come out worthy and deserving winners after 60 minutes. Killybegs opened their scoring with two points from Christopher Murrin, on 14 minutes after a good passing move Anthony O'Hara finished off to the back of the net, it was fairly ding dong for the rest of the opening half with the two teams going in at HT 1-5 a piece. Kevin Martin pulled off a great save from a penalty midway through the first half, Other Killybegs scorers in the first half were a point each from Kevin Martin and Jon Ban Gallagher.

In the second half the home team played some excellent football, along with some sound defending and fast attacking football! Super sub Smackers popped over 2 points, Donal McGuire added 1 point, Owen Gallagher got a point from play after a sweeping move, Shane Molloy was in flying form throughout the game and managed 3 impressive points from play and Anthony O'Hara added two more points to his first half tally ended the game with 1-3.

Superb win for the seniors, well done lads!

Next up is Four Masters away in 2 weeks time.
