St Catherines goalkeeper Michael Mullin helps Finner Camp to the Final
St Catherines goalkeeper Michael Mullin and Finner Camp are on the march once again as they defeated Athlone Barracks on penalties today to reach the final of the famed Cunningham Cup after the game ended 2-2 after extra time.
Mullin has done overseas duties with the Army in times past and is pictured with one of the friends he made in Chad.
Chad is extremely hot in the middle of the African desert but Mullin was super cool today on the double when not only did he save the decisive penalty but he also scored one in the shootout lottery.
Other scorers in the penos were Mark Healey, Ian Ward, Calvin Bradley and Stephen Doherty.
The game ended 2-2 after extra time with Castlefin Celtics Ian Ward twice putting Finner ahead but they were pegged back on both occasions.
They now advance to the final on Thursday week where they face either Galway or Cork.
Well done the boys!!
