GREENWOOD BENEFIT NIGHT


I am writing to invite you to the Greenwood Benefit Night in the Bay View Hotel on Saturday 18th April at 9pm. James Greenwood was married to my niece Leanne Greenwood (nee Gallagher). James was diagnosed with Cancer in February 2019. He spent 6 months in St James Hospital Dublin bravely fighting the disease but he died gracefully on 31st August 2019 leaving behind his wife Leanne and two beautiful daughters aged 2 & 3. James was 33 when he died. As James was self employed him or Leanne were entitled to no financial help from the state when he was sick.

I am hoping to raise some money to put into Trust for Leanne and her two girls. I think it’s nothing more than they deserve. Life is so cruel. So on behalf of the committee we would be delighted if you could come to the Night. We have Eunan McIntyre singing along with some local artists. We also have a disco with DJ Corey- dancing till late. We will be having a Raffle on the night with some Great spot prizes. More details to follow.
